Foot Warmers from Zhu Zhu

Treat your feet to the soothing comfort of a microwavable foot warmer. Whether you’re looking for a boost of heat on a cold winter’s night, or want to relieve the pain of arthritic joints, our hot slippers will keep toes toasty for hours.

How do they work?

If you’ve experienced the joy of soaking tired or aching feet in a warm bath of water, you’ll already appreciate the benefits of heat therapy. Our foot warmers replicate the action of a foot bath but in a much simpler, safer and longer-lasting format.

Each hot slipper contains small grains of wheat that store heat efficiently when microwaved for around 90 seconds and release it again over a long period to relax skin, muscles and joints. The slippers and slipper boots are the perfect shape to surround feet with warmth for a long-lasting effect – perfect for when you want to put your feet up in front of the telly!

Can hot slippers help ease painful joints?

The gentle heat, enhanced by the soothing fragrance of lavender, rose or neroli essential oils not only gently warms cold feet, but provides therapeutic benefits, too.

Heat therapy can help to improve circulation while easing the pain of arthritis, fibromyalgia and plantar fasciitis. When heat is applied locally in this way, it increases blood flow to the feet, reducing pain and inflammation and promoting healing. You can learn more about the benefits of heat therapy here.

Each foot warmer can be reused hundreds of times – and the covers can be removed and washed, too – which means you’ll get great value from a modest investment.

Which pair should I choose?

At Zhu Zhu, we stock a varied selection of feet warmers and slipper boots. Slippers are easy to pop on and off, but the boots provide more coverage and can be worn with the cuffs rolled up or down. Foot warmers are available in cotton, velour and plush with designs that range from classy to quirky. Our animal-themed slippers make great gifts, too!
